Fresh Flowers

My new favourite thing is fresh flowers in the house!

 

They bring a smile to my face every time I walk in the front door and they are there to greet me.

 

The best thing is, they don't have to be expensive arrangements, simple, cheaper arrangements are just as effective, if not more so.

 

The two arrangements shown above were supermarket bought and last up to 2 weeks with a bit of care and maintaining.

New Product - Beach Inspired Cushion Covers

Finally I have the first of my cushion covers up for sale!!

 

These were first dreamt up a long time ago and are finally coming into fruition.

 

There are more designs to come soon but I'm very excited that my first one is ready to go.

Chocolate, Nut and Oat Slice

Last night I made this slice for the first time and am pretty happy with the result.

 

I first saw the recipe on Pinterest and visited Confessions of a Bright-Eyed Baker's blog to get the recipe.

 

Its basically a chocolate slice packed with nuts, rolled oats and dates to make satisfying that chocolate craving just a bit healthier.

 

Highly recommended!
